In the Netherlands, only 19% of top positions in organizations are held by women. Internationally, the average is 29%, reports the study done by Mercer in 5321 organizations in 30 countries.Mercer clearly indicates why Dutch women remain behind in the administrative and management positions: the percentage of women working part-time is quite high. Then it is difficult to work their way up.
In Lithuania, most women work in the top: about 44% of top positions are occupied by women. Saudi Arabia is at the bottom of the list, since there are no women who hold top positions.
