Tilburg University in Social Sciences Top 100 worldwide

For the first time Tilburg University made it to the top 100 of best universities in Social Sciences. In the QS World University Rankings for 2011/2012 it claims the 99th spot.

In the QS top 100 for Social Sciences and Management Tilburg University entered at the 99^th place (last year 109), after Leiden (80), Rotterdam (57) and the University of Amsterdam (41). More than 700 universities worldwide participated in the rankings. The score is for 40 percent determined by the academic reputation (peer review), 20 percent by the number of citations, 20 percent by the number of students, 10 percent by employer review, 5 percent by international faculty and 5 percent by the proportion of international students.

A few weeks ago Tilburg University reached a position in the top 500 of the Shanghai 2011 rankings for the first time, and is therefore among the 3 percent of best universities worldwide.
