Five days between exam grade and resits
The period between the announcement of an exam mark and the resit should probably be more than five days. This suggestion was made at the meeting of the Committee on Education & Research by the two student groups.
Rector Philip Eijlander: “Having a good study plan is not unreasonable.” He admits that this is a Teaching and Examination Regulations (OER) issue and that it should be consulted with all vice-deans. This consultation is scheduled for 13 December.
The new rule would be to limit a marking period to up to fifteen days. If it turns out that faculties will not keep up with the fifteen-day rule, a possibility of setting one central Hotline to monitor such cases will be considered.
