SAM and AbvaKabo win elections
Student party SAM is the winner of the university council elections for students. SAM got 2662 votes, which resulted, just like last year, in five seats. Student party Front holds it 4 seats with 2328 votes.
A total of 5250 students casted their votes last week. The voter turnout of 41.2 per cent was a record.
As for the employee parties, there a little change took place. The Independents (253 votes) lost a seat. Their seat went to union AbvaKabo (668 votes). AbvaKabo now has seven seats in the university council, Independents has two. Over fifty percent of the employees went to the digital polls.
