Studystore moves to Dante Building

Studystore moves this autumn to the Dante building. The lease that the bookstore has for the Goossens building, their current location, expires in July.

Because the Studystore will be moved to Dante, the smoking room and foyer will be made much smaller. Unfortunately, there is no space for storage room. Therefore,  the former room of the caretakers in Simon Building will be made available.

Koen Gijsbers, a store manager at Studystore: “We would prefer to stay at our current location, but that is impossible due to space limitations of the university. I am satisfied in terms of visibility in the Dante building. However, the space is much smaller. That will require the necessary adjustments. An architect is now looking how we can use this space in the best way. I strive to keep the range intact. It is difficult now when the store and a storage are split. We need to find a solution, maybe a little work storage in the store. ”

The lease of Studystore is formally valid until July. But moving during the summer, according to Gijsbers, is not an option.”August is our busiest time of the year. We cannot move then. “
