29 scholarships for international students

Tilburg University receives 19 scholarships for students that want to spend a part of their study outside the EER zone. On top of that, 29 scholarships are available for foreign students that want to receive their whole education at this university.

Minister of Education Jet Bussemaker announced in December that she made 768 scholarships available for students that want to study outside Europe. She also prepared 768 scholarships for foreign students that want to stay in The Netherlands during their entire study. They are divided amongst 48 Dutch universities and universities of applied science.

The study departments themselves pay half of the costs. Dutch students receive 1250 euros for their time abroad. International students get 5000 euros. The enrollments for the new ‘Holland Scholarship’-program were opened yesterday. Starting next year, students can take advantage of the new scholarships.
