Just because it’s fun
Swings in the most unexpected places, just because it’s fun. That is the philosophy of the Swings Holland. The nonprofit organization is responsible for installing 60 swings across the whole Netherlands, including three in Tilburg.
‘It will bring Dutch people closer together, swing by swing.” is how the two initiators Chantal Drenthe and Joost Verkamman explain their mission. On their Facebook page you can follow what cities are included in the with fun.
There you can also see the location of all the swings. In Tilburg, the swings can be found next to the police station at the Heuvelring and at the City Hall on the Stadhuisplein. The location of a swing number three is still a mystery.
