Liberal democrats most popular at Tilburg University

Exactly 1300 people casted their votes at the Tilburg University’s polling place in yesterday’s  provincial elections.

The most popular party among Tilburg University voters is D66: the liberal democrat party received 388 votes. Second in line was the conservative-liberal party VVD (which is the biggest party nationwide) with 344 votes. 48 votes went to the conservative Party for Freedom (PVV) – considerable less than the national bias.

The centre-right Christian Democrats (CDA) got 101 votes. The Christian Union/Reformed Political Party (Christenunie/SGP) ended up with 17 votes.

The left-wing Socialist Party (SP) ended up with 100 votes, the PvdA (Labour) got 143 votes, GreenLeft (GL) got 141 votes, and the Party for the Animals (PvdD) got 11 votes.

There were no blank votes (also known as protest votes) or invalid votes counted at the Tilburg University’s polling station.
