Tilburg University students assist with tax forms
As part of the national Tax Return Day, fifty Tilburg University students will assist about 200 Tilburg inhabitants with their income tax forms on Saturday. The event will take place in university restaurant Food Plaza.
The national Tax Return Day is an initiative that attracts a lot of people with tax form questions. It is organized by study organization De Smeetskring whose members provide free fiscal advice to low-income residents living in Tilburg.
For the Fiscal Economics and Fiscal Law students it is voluntary work, but they do earn study credits in return. The Fiscal Law students will also be granted exemption from a part of their skills activities. [EV/transl. YV]
