‘Bed guarantee for foreign student in Wageningen’
International students at Wageningen UR are no longer getting a room guarantee but a ‘bed guarantee’. From this academic year onward, the university will house several foreign students in one room to make sure they all have a place to stay.
The measure caused confusion because earlier this year the university had guaranteed foreign students a room in advance, reported daily the Gelderlander. There has been a sharp rise in the number of students. To avoid any further confusion, Wageningen University introduced the new room measure.
