Korean universities close doors

North Korea’s universities will be closed the next ten months. The country has serious economic problems. Students will be employed in factories and in agriculture.

According to Japanese experts, possible protests could be another reason for the universities’ closure. Since the Arab spring, the North Korean regime fears an uprising of the population. Universities are the most likely places where a revolution could start.
