Students seriously injured during introduction in Utrecht
Three students were injured when they their heads hit a railway viaduct in Utrecht on Monday evening. The students were in an open double-decker bus. The bus drove through the city with students who participated in the introduction week. It was hired by student Hockey Association Rinoceros.
All three students have been taken to the hospital. Two of the students are seriously injured. Victim Support took care of all other passengers.
According to Rinoceros the students possibly did not hear the warning to keep their heads down when the bus approached an overpass.
