TiasNimbas opens new location in Amsterdam

TiasNimbas, Tilburg’s business school, is expanding nationally. Besides Tilburg, Eindhoven, and Utrecht, it will open a business school location in Amsterdam this year. The institute has schools in Germany and England as well.

80 percent of TiasNimbas is owned by Tilburg University and 20 percent by Eindhoven University of Technology. The Institute started with business programs for working adults 25 years ago. TiasNimbas Business School is a private company. Besides making use of Tilburg University teachers, it also employs its own staff.

We first explored the business school market in Amsterdam, says managing director Jan Henk van de Werff. Last year, TiasNimbas started with short courses in the Dutch capital. In March 2012, the first group of 25 people will start the executive master’s program Management and Organization.

Next Monday, on September 12, there is an information meeting for those interested students in Amsterdam.
