PhD research also examined by Levelt committee

Tilburg University will talk with three PhD students about a possible adjustment of their research and supervision. The PhD students have recently started a PhD program and were supervised by professor Diederik Stapel.

In addition, the Levelt committee, that researches Stapel’s research methods, will re-examine the studies of five PhD students who have already obtained their doctoral degree and were supervised by Stapel.

One of the thesises the committee Levelt will re-examine is How the mind moods by Yana Avramova. For her thesis Avramova won the dissertation prize at the start of this academic year.

Earlier this week the university announced the postponement of Marijn Meijers’ PhD defense Making it easy to be green because she was supervised by Stapel.
