Olof freshmen collect 5337 euros for kidney foundation
At a fund-raising for the Nierstichting (kidney foundation), freshman members of student association St. Olof have raised more than 5000 euros.
The 121 first-year students collected a total of 5337.83 euros from people in the Tilburg shopping center and from downtown residents.
“Olof is very committed to community involvement and charity causes. Annually, we organize a charity dinner for the less fortunate and raise money for the kidney foundation”, says Olof president David Hilgers. “Since last year, Olof also participated in Serve the City projects, and we encourage our members to do the same.”
