Students lend a hand to volunteer projects
A tricycle race at de Prins Bernhardschool was the opening act of the Tilburg volunteer week of Serve The City yesterday. Students of Tilburg University could enroll in 15 different volunteer projects.
Visiting residents of retirement home Duynsberg, painting at non-profit meal organisation Maaltijdenexpress, renovating a playground, cleaning up litter and organizing a play afternoon for children in the Stokhasselt area; during the Serve your City Action Week students will lend a hand to various projects in Tilburg. A group of international students has signed up to go shopping with elderly on Thursday.
