Hiring freeze lifted later than planned
The hiring freeze at Tilburg University will be discontinued at 5 November at the earliest, and not, as planned, on 22 October 22. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the university council’s Executive committee was able to discuss the reorganization plan last week. It also means there will be no voting during the University council on 21 October.
It is now decided that the committee will meet next Friday to talk about the plan. In addition, an extra university council meeting is planned on 4 November to vote about the reorganization plan.
Earlier the Lokaal Overleg Bonden, the representative unions at Tilburg University, agreed to a proposal by the Executive Board to lift the hiring freeze.
