Vidar rower wins Dutch championship
Diederick van den Bouwhuijsen of Tilburg Student Rowing association Vidar became Dutch Champion Indoor Rowing last weekend. He covered the 2 kilometer in 6.20,60.
Also first-years eight Vidar rowers competed during the NKIR championship. The first year men lightweight team reached the 5th position by covering the distance of 2 kilometer in 7.02,00. The first-year Ladies ended on third place with a time of 7.42,00 and also first-year heavy knew to reach a third position (6.35,4).
Another remarkable achievement was Rinske Dijkstra’s second place. With her 7.31,4 time she narrowly missed out on the Dutch ladies lightweight champion title (LDSB).
