Dutch soccerfans in student rooms
During the European Football Championship in Kharkov (Ukraine) Oranje fans will be accommodated in dorms. In the Ukrainian city there are not enough rooms available.
The City Council is therefore planning to close the academic year in April. Students would then have to leave their rooms, which will provide housing for the Dutch Team fans, wrote the Algemeen Dagblad.
A tourist agent Turan Atagun doubts whether the rooms are functional. “Many of these rooms have no bathroom or you need to share it with eight other rooms. The hygiene is often poor. In some cases you would rather sleep in the park, than in such a room. ”
The Dutch team plays three games in Kharkov.
