Shops open on Sundays
Tired of having an empty fridge on Sundays? For those international students who still can’t get used to closed shops on a last day of the week, we have good news.
The municipality of Tilburg reports, that from January 2012 shops and supermarkets in Tilburg are allowed to be open. The opening hours remain restricted- the customers are welcomed from 8 am to 18 pm. The shop managers may decide if they wish to join the so called ‘Koopzondagen’ (shopping Sundays).
