Willem Vreeburg retired

One of the driving forces of cultural life in Tilburg, Willem Vreeburg, retired yesterday from Paradox. He led large groups of volunteers, first in Noorderligt, later in 013 and the last four years in Paradox. William was also was involved in the design of Mundial Festival. Willem Vreeburg (64) is retiring.

Vreeburg was a philosophical, often quiet, man, but inspired everyone with a good word. He did not only contributed to the cultural scene of Tilburg, but also promoted a healthy lifestyle. Because Willem was concerned about the health of volunteers in the Noorderligt, he organized bike rides around Tilburg.

Ton Vermunt from Paradox says: “Willem really thought about everything, about life, and about nature. He is a good sculptor and photographer. In short, he always surprises me. ”

Without Willem Vreeburg Tilburg would not be such a culturally important city.
