Van Oorschot reappointed TiU Chairman

Hein van Oorschot was reappointed as President of the Executive Board. The period of him holding this position was extended until 31 December 2013.

Van Oorschot joined in 2004 as a chairman of the University of Tilburg. After two terms the Board of Governors has now decided that van Oorschot will serve as chairman for another two years. The reason is that the administrative knowledge and experience of Van Oorschot is vital for the strategic positioning of the university and the execution of cuts in educational section.

The Executive Board consists of Hein van Oorschot (Chair) and Philip Eijlander (Rector). Together they constitute the board of the university and are responsible for the management and administration of the university.
