Students help to arrest burglars
Students from Tilburg helped the police to arrest four burglars.
In the night from Sunday to Monday students heard the noise in the downstairs bar at the Thomas van Aquinostraat. The residents of the dorm decided to go downstairs.
They noticed that the entrance door is broken and open, so they closed it. When the police came, the burglars were struggling with the closed door. The policeman managed to arrest two of the four burglars on the spot, but the remaining two escaped with a car. The police caught them few blocks away. The burglars were 22 to 29 years old.
The four Tilburgers were taken into custody and their car was confiscated by the police.
