Most students aware of long study measure

Most students are well aware of the upcoming long study measure with which they might be confronted next year.

Intomart GfK has investigated how many students are aware of the new measures. They have shown that the most students are also aware of the fact that they will have to pay tuition fees when they decide to follow a second education. Other measures, such as the social loaning system in the masters phase and the limitation of the public transportation card, are known by less students.

Almost half of the students know of the measures, which are yet to be considered by the government, with which they might be confronted.

In the following months, additional steps will be taken to increase the familiarity of the measures amongst students. DUO, the Dutch office of education, will send a special newsletter to all students.
