TiU student in ‘student of the year’ quarterfinals
Tilburg University student Heidi Veugen (Study: Econometrics & Operations Research) has reached the quarterfinals of the contest ‘Student of the Year’.
Students could register on a special website, where they created a profile with photos and answer questions like ‘what are your ambitions?’, ‘why do you follow this study?’ and ‘what are your extracurricular activities?’. Other people could vote on those photographs and statements. After the voting, 24 students remained.
In the quarterfinals, the debating techniques of the participants are tested, which can give them extra points (= votes).
