Train station TiU will close for weekend renovations
Railway station Tilburg University is going to be rebuilt. The old waiting shelters will be replaced by modern ones specifically designed for this station. In addition the railway platform height will change to the European standard.
Train traffic won’t be possible during the renovation. Therefore the train station will be closed the weekend of May 19 and 20. The new shelters will be placed in a later stage at night, when there is not train traffic..
According Prorail, the renovations project is scheduled to be ready at mid-June.
