No Muzenconcerten in Tilburg

There will be no muzenconcerten this year in Tilburg. Enthusiasts of the concerts have to seek rescue in Breda, Bergen op Zoom, Dordrecht and Roosendaal.

Tilburg is missing on the list of locations. According to the Brabants Dagblad, it has to do with a discussion about the funding. The organization have applied for 21,000 euros, but received only 14,000 euros.

The concerts took place traditionally on the Tilburg campus. But the enthusiasm for the concerts among students has decreased during past few years, for it was no longer allowed to bring your own drinks.

Update: In Univers magazine no 13, the Muse Concerts (Palm Parkies)  are still listed as a cheap way of going out during the summer. Unfortunately, at the time of printing of the Univers we did not know  that these concerts will be cancelled.
