TLS financially healthy
Tilburg Law School’s financial situation is very good. The School has saved a considerable amount over the past year, which results in a good budget for 2012.
The budget surplus will be invested in education and research. This will result in a “financial breathing space for the faculty,” said Miranda Noordermeer. The rigorous austerity policies have imposed a lot of pressure, but the savings perhaps can take some of that pressure off.
During the faculty council meeting Randall Lesaffer retired as Dean and Chairman of the board. On 1 January 2013, Corien Prins took the position of the dean.
