World summit on education hosted in Amsterdam
The 2013 International Summit on the Teaching Profession will be hosted in Amsterdam. On the 13th and 14th of March politicians, union leaders and lecturers will come to the Netherlands to discuss the quality of lectures.
The summit is an idea of Barack Obama and his Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The initiative was taken to organize an international discussion about the way the quality of lectures can be improved. Best practices will be exchanged in order to improve the quality of education all over the world. It is the first time this summit will be held outside the US.
