Extra opportunity to start writing thesis at TiSEM

Students of TiSEM should be able to write their thesis in the Fall semester, so they can start their Master’ s program in January. This was the proposition of the management team in the last faculty council.

The extra opportunity to start writing a Bachelor thesis at TiSEM should prevent unnecessary study delay. The extra possibility in September, besides the one in the Spring semester, is only open for students who have studied at TiSEM for over three years and have every chance of graduating in the next year. A  student must also have at least 138 ECTS.

The proposition  has everything to do with the Bachelors-before-Masters rule.  This rule means you can only start studying for your Master’s degree once you have completed your Bachelor’s and was implemented at every university in the Netherlands.
