Shops open on Sundays
Shops in the center of Tilburg will be open on Sundays again, at least until a law about opening hours of shops is treated in the Upper Chamber of Dutch Parliament.
Because of a lawsuit, it is not allowed to open shops every Sunday anymore. However, the municipality is still allowed to open the shops on a certain amount of Sundays. Quite ingeniously, the municipality has created extra shopping Sundays until the law is discussed in the Upper Chamber of Dutch Parliament, which will probably enable the municipality to open the shops again. The next four Sundays the shops will be open, except for Easter Sunday.
