Palistinian leader speaks at Nexus

Former prime-minister of the Palestinian National Authority Salam Fayyad has been asked to present the next Nexus Masterclass on the 7th of November at Tilburg University.

Fayyad, economist and humanitarian, is coming forward for the first time since his departure as prime-minister. He spent his time at the PNA trying to establish a stable and functioning Palestinian state that could co-exist with Israël in peace. His moderate and pragmatic approach resulted in opposition from both Hamas and Fatah. He’ll be sharing his philosophical views on the topic of ‘Power and Justice’ with the audience.

The masterclass will be held on the 7th of november from 3 to 5 p.m. at Tilburg University. Admittance is free for students, though participants are required to register up front. More information can be found on the Nexus webpage.
