Loan system will be installed soon
Education specialists from several political parties speak about a social loan system for students. Right now, Dutch students still get a monthly allowance. It now seems that this system will be over soon.
Only one party, GroenLinks (GL), still has doubts about forcing students to take a big loan for their studies. According to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, the politicians from GL can be persuaded though, if free traveling for students is maintained. The paper has sources that claim that 90 percent of the deal is done.
