Students face their hangovers to uncover Tilburg’s best kept secrets
Despite the heat and the hangovers, TOP Week participants gathered at Willemsplein this morning for the ‘Experience Tilburg’ game. All over the city center, competing teams were moving from assignment to assignment in order to score as many points as possible.
The winning team will be announced tomorrow. The prize remains a surprise, but all participants have at the very least gained insight into Tilburg’s hidden places and remote corners. “Our team has no chance at winning”, says Dani from Spain. “But I did get to know the city center a lot better. My favorite part? The beach, definitely.”
Not everyone was up for the challenge. Mentors Jeroen and Jarmo decided to give their group a break from the official program. “After the beer cantus, we all needed some recovery time”, Jarmo explains. While others were fanatically completing group assignments across the city, they sought the shade of a terrace and saved their strength for the TOP Festival.
