Tilburg through Ammar’s eyes: ‘Kissing alley’
Het Zwaanstraatje. I love this little alley in Tilburg. When I had just arrived in the Netherlands, I saw a couple kissing in a similar alley in Venlo. That was one of my first impressions of the Netherlands: here, people kiss each other on the streets at night.Ammar Alkhatib is a photographer from Damascus, Syria. He lost his Nikon to the waves of the sea he crossed to reach safer ground. With the new camera he got from his Dutch friend Jesse, Ammar now captures his new life in Tilburg.
