SAM versus Front, the statements

This afternoon the epic battle between SAM and Front is taking place in Academia. The student parties will discuss four statements. The electable party leaders of both factions will take a stand, and they can be helped by the incumbent party leader. After the battle over the statements, the incumbent party leaders of SAM and Front will take the floor and answer some questions about their achievements and party positions in the University Council last year. You can walk in any time you like, but the battle starts at 16.30. This debate is organized by Cicero, Academic Forum and Univers. It will be live-streamed on the Universonline Facebook page this afternoon. 

Statements

1. Tilburg University should prioritize international students over regional students (De UvT moet meer investeren in het binnenhalen van buitenlandse studenten dan in ( het binnenhalen van) regionale studenten)

 2. The university should focus on investments in digitalization over physical lectures (De UvT moet meer investeren in digitale dan in normale colleges)

 3. The university is responsible for the participation in the labor market of its alumni. (De universiteit is verantwoordelijk voor de arbeidsmarktpositie van de alumni)

4. The university should promote students to plunge into student life rather than graduating as soon as possible (Het studentenleven moet meer aangemoedigd worden op de universiteit in plaats van snelle studiedoorstroom)
