Five Veni grants for Tilburg researchers

Five talented researchers from Tilburg University saw their research proposals rewarded with a Veni grant. The grants of up to €250,000 will go to researchers Michèle Nuijten, Bart van der Sloot, Marjolein de Boer, Anne Lafarre, and Julio Crego.

Veni grants are allocated annually by the NWO to promising researchers. This allows them to work on their research for three years. A total of 1176 proposals were submitted this year, 161 of which were rewarded with a grant.

The Veni grant is part of the Veni, Vidi, Vici talent program of the NWO. Last month Tilburg researchers missed out on the Vidi grants of up to €800,000 for experienced scientists.
