Open Stage Night and campus poet election
Studium Generale is hosting an online Open Stage Night this evening. On this day, also National Poetry Day, the new campus poet will be elected.
Tonight, nominees will recite one or more of their submitted poems, after which a professional jury will decide who will be the successor to Campus Poet 2020 Bart van Popering.
By means of poetry, the campus poet speaks out about campus life, studies, science, and current issues in society. Among other things, the poems are published in Univers and recited at various events.
In addition to the campus poet election, there will be performances by the band Stince, dance club Dance Nation, and pianist Maurick Reuser. Nour Tanak will host the evening.
