UvT schrapt afkorting TiSSBeS

De UvT hanteert voor de Tilburg School of Social and Behavioral Sciences niet langer de afkorting TiSSBeS, maar TSB. Dat blijkt uit een lijst met officiële afkortingen die het CvB heeft gepubliceerd. De naam Tilburg University wordt afgekort gebruikt als TiU.

Sinds het moment dat de faculteiten Engelse namen kregen, werd de afkorting FSW (faculteit sociale wetenschappen) in officiële documenten vervangen door TiSSBeS. Waarom de afkorting nu aangepast is, is niet duidelijk. Wel werd er al snel gespot over de naam ’tis best’
