Cinecitta closes for six months
A favorite cinema of many students closes for a period of about six months. But there is good news, too. From Thursday, April 26, the program of Cinecitta will be partially continued in the Filmfoyer, the movie theater at the Schouwburgring.
If you are not a big fan of Hollywood, commercial movies, Cinecitta was probably your place. A cinema luring students with €4 tickets every Monday, will be now renovated. You can go to Filmfoyer instead- the program can be found on the website www.filmfoyer.nl.
Filmfoyer manager Meike van Zandvoort: “We can offer a combination of Cinecitta and Filmfoyer movies. This gives the audience a taste of the movies that will be shown in the new Cinecitta,” reports the portal Tilburg.com.
The Filmfoyer will close on 1 January 2013. Theaters Tilburg, in its role as a patron of the Filmfoyer, has an agreement with Cinecitta. It states that the offer of the Filmfoyer will be kept in the new Cinecitta.
