Museum De Pont free for young visitors
De Pont, Tilburg’s museum of contemporary art, will be free of charge for young people starting next year.

From 2 January 2026, Museum De Pont will offer free admission to everyone aged 26 and under. With this change, the museum aims to remove financial barriers and encourage more young visitors to explore what the museum has to offer.
Director Martijn van Nieuwenhuyzen explains: ‘We want all young people, whether they are students or not, to feel welcome. By making admission free, we hope to invite them to discover the world of contemporary art.’
New prices
Because of this change, the museum will need to compensate by raising income from other visitor groups. As a result, the regular admission price will increase. The adult ticket price will rise from 16 to 20 euros as of 2 January 2026.
Those with less to spend can still visit during the weekly free evening: every Thursday from 17:00 to 20:00, visitors of all ages can enter the museum free of charge.
