New student residences in the centre of Tilburg

264  new student apartments are being realized between the Pieter Vreedeplein and Spoorlaan, close to the central station in Tilburg. The apartments will become available in the late summer of 2013.

Three new buildings have been designed for the project, which will be placed on a car free square. The 264 apartments are independent  housing units, with a surface of 24 square meters. A private kitchen and bathroom are included. Every building has a roof terrace that serves as a joint outdoor space.

The highest building, situated at the Magazijnstraat, has seven floors. Underneath the square a parking square is realized, which will also be accessible for the residents.

The construction is executed by Wonenbreburg and Van de Ven Bouw en Ontwikkeling. WonenBreburg wants to build a total of 500 new student residences before 2016. The amount of students in Tilburg is expected to increase with 2000 until 2025.

Students who are interested can contact Wonenbreburg.
