Faction SAM wins elections

Faction SAM has won the elections for the university council. There was a turnout of 48,1%, which is the largest known turnout.

The preliminary results of the elections for the university council and the faculty councils were presented friday. 5883 students voted for the election of the university council, which is 48,1% of the total student body. As far as the electoral committee’s office knows this was the largest turnout ever. At TSB (Tilburg School of Behavioral Sciences) the turnout was 33,7%, a higher turnout that last year. There were no elections needed at TST (Tilburg School of Catholic Theology), because there were only three candidates.

Faction SAM had 835 votes more than Front. This means SAM obtained five seats in the university council. Four students will be in the council on behalf of Front.
