Lineup for Mundial Festival 2011 revealed
What great artist must definitely lineup for Festival Mundial this year? Tilburg citizens have a vote in this by suggesting a performer or a band. Earlier it was announced that Wyclef Jean had cancelled. Through We Want More! Festival Mundial is now looking for a world class replacement.
Apart from that the lineup for 2011 is not bad. On Saturday there will be performances of Hotel, Gabby Young & Other Animals, Katzenjammer, Sierra Leone’s Refugee All Stars, Selah Sue, Paolo Nutini, Bomb Diggy Crew DJ, Boef en de Gelogeerde Aap, S.W.A.N., Bombino, Mamas Gun, Goldfish, M.I.S. / Mexican Institute of Sound, MAN Recordings Labelnight, Daniel Haaksman, Bert on Beats en Schlachthofbronx.
The lineup on Sunday is: Tako Lako, Los de Abajo, LA-33, De Jeugd van Tegenwoordig, Magic System, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Moby, Munchi DJ, Jungle by Night, Havana d’Primera, Aloe Blacc, Terrakota, Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar, Lamb en Frédéric Galliano and is completed by Kuduro Sound System.
Festival Mundial takes place on 18 and 19 June 2011 in het Leijpark in Tilburg. A festival pass for Festival Mundial will cost 40 euros if you book in advance (normal price is 50 euros) and a day ticket costs 22.50 euros (on the spot 30 euros). [MW/transl. YV]
