Students and career starters today are confident and independent and they feel perfectly at ease with taking their own decisions. It makes extroverted professions, such as sales, marketing and PR very popular among them. Young people can adapt quickly because the constant flow of information, the researchers conclude. They are always online and therefore always accessible.
For young professionals the line between work and private life is slowly fading. They would like to manage private affairs during working time, but on the other hand, it is ok that the boss contacts them in private time.
Particularly striking is that although the Young Professional 2.0 is convinced about himself, he would like to have the possibility to fall back on an experienced colleague. This young generation is looking for a coach, a leader, and someone they can learn much from.
