Tilburg University best Dutch specialist university

Utrecht University is again the best Dutch university, professors think. Tilburg got the highest score as specialist university, according to research conducted by Dutch weekly magazine Elsevier among 153 study programs in higher education.

Utrecht also topped the best Dutch university list last year. Rijksuniversiteit Groningen and Radboud Universitiet Nijmegen ranked highest on the satisfactory academic environment scale. Eindhoven University of Technology did better than the technical universities of Delft and Enschede. Of all universities of applied sciences, the Hogeschool Zeeland got first place.

The research is based on two surveys: 2,500 professors and associate professors choose the best study program in their field, and 150,000 students judged their study program. The students gave marks for commitment and accessibility of their professors, preparing for the labor market and their study program, among other things.
