Children’s University booked up fast
Children who did not manage to get into the Children’s University will be able to follow some of new lectures online. All children’s lectures of the new season at both Tilburg University and Eindhoven University of Technology are fully booked.
Spokesman Tonke van de Ven says that places were booked up fast. “Within two weeks everything was full. For each class we accommodate 170 children between the ages of 9 and 12. Most children come from Tilburg and surroundings, but children from the Rotterdam area applied for the courses as well. ”
It is the first time that some of the Children’s University lectures (in Dutch) can be watched live online. The first lecture ‘Waar wonen de slimste kinderen van de wereld? (The smartest children in the world: Where do they live?) by professor Fons van de Vijver is streamed live on 31 oktober at 16.45 hours.
