Groningen University discriminated male professors
According to the equal opportunities commission, Groningen University is guilty of discrimination because it nominated 12 female professors to chairs which were specially created for them.
The university wanted to increase the percentage of female professors and set aside extra funding to pay for 12 new chairs. Men were not allowed to apply.
Groningen University responds that the rules have already changed.
