Educated men in advantage in dating circuit
The number of women with a high education is growing in comparison to the number of educated men, and these women are mostly attracted to men with at least the same level of intelligence.
NRC writes that, with the growing number of high educated women in comparison to high educated men, men are in an advantage in the relationship market. Male university students or graduates are more in favor with this growing group of smart women, since women with an academic degree are mainly interested in men with at least the same level of education.
With a total of 32.000 graduated women against 25.000 graduated men, women experience more competition from other female students in finding a decent man.
The requirements for a suitable man, however, are also changing. Having a good education no longer suffices. Emancipated women want men who respect their new status and are willing to contribute equally to the household and raising the children.
