#Lovewall misused

The love wall that is placed on campus on Valentine’s Day is a great success. For a long time the hashtag #Lovewall was a trend on Twitter. People who wish to express their feelings or greeting to their friends can tweet a message which is then displayed on a large screen on campus.Although partially the love wall really  shows messages of affection, various associations and companies abuse the hashtag for advertising their product or inviting their members for a drink.

Moreover, someTwitterers used the hashtag to send unfriendly messages. Although the organizers try to moderate those hostile tweets, some of them already appeared on the screen. One of the tweets was:  “I know it, Elsbeth, you’ve always avoided me. But here you have a heart that I’ve cut out of a cat “.
